Chapter 1: The Beginning
[10:34 PM July 8, 2026, Kazai's house]
While everyone was sleeping, Satora was looking outside the window at Kazai's house while sipping some tea. There was suddenly a thunderstorm, and the thunder was abnormally too strong. She thought beforehand that it was a disaster. "Gah! W-wait, there's... Is this a disaster?" She walks to the bedroom, where everyone is sleeping. She woke up everyone by shouting "Hey! Wake up! There's a dis-" "AAAHHHH! Don't just wake me up when I'm trying to have a good sleep, Sato!" Sai was screaming by fear, it's mostly that he's weak-minded. Everyone woke up, except Luka. She is a childish person who often likes to sleep. "Sai, calm down. Don't be too scared because of yourself existing.." Satora said in a calm tone, then Satora calmed Sai down by saying "Everything is fine, just sleep here, Sai." and proceeds to go dress up. "Why are you waking me up at a time like this?" Kazai asked Satora, then Satora answered panickingly, "There's a disaster that we have to take care of! Do you understand? Kazai?" "I know, Satora! Is that really urgent that you had to wake people up at night? It'll only last for a while anyways." Kazai said to Satora angrily, and someone was going to keep them from arguing. "H-hey, don't argue, guys, I'm just trying to sleep here, and you're loud as hell." Haku, a person who just came out of a game has just woke up, feeling unhappy because of the incident that happened some days ago.
The roommates goes outside to see the disaster that Satora told them about. There was something abnormal, like what Satora has seen. There was a cloudy landscape, and the roommates could not see the stars, and the season wasn't even for cloudy weather. It's guaranteed that there's actually an disaster here. Luka now wakes up and tries to go to the fridge to eat some food, because she's hungry.
Meanwhile, Kazai was trying to search for her old stuff she needs to bring outside, she fell down the stairs, while Sai is nervously trying to find his goggles only for Mina's teddy to drop down, Haku jumps, literally scared. Haku comes in "S-sai... What the hell..?" he shuddered, picking up the teddy bear "I'm so sorry master!!" He replied "...Um... Who said I am your master..?" Haku asked Sai. "Sai, stop being that scared... Well... If you're that scared, I'll give you something to protect yourself now. Sai." Kazai hands a sword to Sai after she goes back up the the stairs.... But, before Kazai can even hands her sword to Sai, the child with the unknown age (if you didn't read the prologue), Kinato starts screaming from the bedroom. Satora heard the screaming, then she goes to see Kinato and help her, but Kinato attempts to throw a cutter somewhere, trying to aim at something for some reason, but Kinato missed and it hits Sai, injuring him and makes him scream by how weak-minded he is, and Kazai attempts to stop her by taping her to the floor, and continues to search for important items. Kazai looks at the other houses, and the lights are all off.
The roommates has not ventured out to stop the disaster yet, but Kazai untapes Kinato out of the floor, and then stores her in a cage, which everyone is safe from Kinato. Kazai lifted up the cage and stored it in Satora's electrical limousine, then complained to Satora: "Well, Satora, let's get going. If it'll just last for 1 day then I'll kill you for waking me up in the middle of a night for this..." The roommates get on the limousine and goes to investigate the disaster. Satora tried to start her limousine, but it didn't start. "Hey! Start already!" Satora shouted at the car while punching it. "Hey Satora, punching the car won't do anything, It'll only get more broken. You forgot to charge it, Satora, so i've charged it for you. The only thing we could do is to wait a couple of hours. Most magical-natural disasters are like natural disasters, it only lasts for a while." Kazai said, then everyone sat down on the seats of Satora's limousine. "Dettonotto, hand me my cigarette pack. And my lighter." said Haku. Dettonotto then replied "Sure sure, Haku, just don't commit arson, alright?"
