Chapter 13: Arcade Machine Ambush

All of the squad woke up. Katasu was gone, and everyone was worried, until Kazai remembered what she talked about last night. "Well, Katasu's meeting her friend for some days, so let's go play some arcade machines before we head to Natoruyo." Kazai said. "Are you gonna leave them behind?" Kano said. "Nah, we'll go get Katasu when she returns. I hope she's safe." Kazai said.

All of them got on the limousine and goes to the arcade shop. Luka is the first one to interact with the arcade machine, which is a rhythm game machine.

Sai, feeling scared, decides to play with Luka. Other peoples goes to play other arcade games. 

[Some minutes later...]

All of a sudden, the arcade machine broke, and a person bursted out of it. The arcade machine was a trap to kill Luka, but Sai, being totally scared, pulled Luka to other places. The person caught Luka, but Kazai pushed the person off. Everyone heard someone else shout "Hey, what the hell's going on here nya?" 

The voice seemed to be Katasu. Katasu was shouting from upstairs, and Kano replied "Katasu! You heard the explosion?" Katasu shouted "Nya-nya! What exactly is happening here?" then Katasu was pulled back by someone that is with them. "Katasu, an enemy bursted from the machines!"

There was no response. Kano then tried to electrocute the enemy, but it appears that the enemy is an another girl in purple. "Ehh!? Seriously, how many girls in purple do we even have to deal with?" Kano said, then Kazai slashed the girl with a sword. It hurt her badly, so the girl made an actual explosion that burned the arcade shop into pieces. All of the citizens ran into their home, except the ones that didn't hear the explosion.

The police immediately came, because someome else called the police beforehand. The girl made an explosion again, making the glass shards spread and break other windows.

The girl threw several orbs, and then triggered the bomb. Everyone ran away to avoid taking damage from the explosion, then Haku summoned a bow. Haku shot it at the girl and it pierced her. 

Luckily, the house Katasu was in is away from the radius of explosion, so there's nothing to worry about. Haku shot the bow again, and the girl quickly managed to make an explosion at the arrow, obilerating it. The fire was everywhere, and there is a barrel of oil nearby. "Haku! Douse the girl with gasoline!" Kazai said. Haku quickly ran the the barrel of oil, and threw the barrel of oil at the girl. 

The police ran to the girl and tried to arrest the girl. One of the polices lit up the gasoline, and it burned the girl. The girl mysteriously disappeared in the fire. No one knows where she goes, but Kazai uses her water powers to clear out the fire. "That was a total mess. Good thing she's gone..." Kazai said. "We're gonna have to stay here for an extra time. Maybe wait for Katasu, because these girls keep messing with us." Kinato writed to Kazai "What exactly is Katasu helping at?" Kazai then said "Oh, Katasu's helping someone on building machinery, Kinato." 

Everyone realized they forgot to eat their breakfast. They entered the limousine and drived to the restaurant. Everyone ate the same thing they had last evening, and Luka contacted Katasu. Katasu picked up. "Meow! Katasu speaking!" "Good morning, Katasu! How's it going?" Luka said while being excited. "Good morning, Luka! I'm fine!" Katasu replied. "Do you need anything, like, some sushi?" Luka said. "Sure! Give me some salmon and I'll be happy! Send it to the opposite of the ruined arcade shop, Luka!" Katasu hung up. Luka bought some sushi, and ran to Zach's house. Luka saw Katasu at the balcony. "Hi there, Katasu! Can I leave it at the porch?" Luka said. "Sure! I'll go downstairs and get it! If you want anything, come here, until I return to the squad!"

Luka ran and got back to the squad. They're still eating their noodles. Kano then said "Hey Haku, have you ever heard of Neosights?" Haku replied to Kano "What's that?" Kano then replied "Neosights are basically blind cat people, but they can make a picture in their head. Katasu isn't one of them, though." Haku said "Interesting." then watched one of his favorite murder mystery series.

[Notice] Discontinutation of Monochrome Blankness ('s current storyline)

I'm really sorry, everyone, if there is even anyone who reads my stuff. I wish to discontinue this novel project of mine due to a lot of reasons. Some of those reasons include me wishing to pursue further knowledge on game development, and to improve on my writing. I felt like the pacing of the chapters was way too fast, and the storywriting's quality is poor, which resulted in me being in an art block.  I also want to spend my time doing what I love, and maybe I'll come back to love writing again. It's up to your own interpretation on how the story ends, and I'll continue writing Side Stories or Extra Chapters here and then. Well, just so you know, Ambroise and Kazai are alive and well! From now on, I will be adding date and time to the chapters I write. It's gonna be a different story, yet I'll continue it in the universe that I built with love and care.

Chapter 1: The Beginning

[10:34 PM July 8, 2026, Kazai's house] While everyone was sleeping, Satora was looking outside the window at Kazai's house while sipping some tea. There was suddenly a thunderstorm, and the thunder was abnormally too strong. She thought beforehand that it was a disaster. "Gah! W-wait, there's... Is this a disaster?"
