Chapter 16: Thoughts in a Quiet Place
[Kazai's perspective]
It's 4PM now, and I'm just wandering in the Utoko Library.
It reminds me of something, when I used to go to the library when I first got in the Naiko High School... I used to go with Satora. No, not Satora Teishi, the other Satora. She's dead, but I never really missed her.
I wonder how are there many people named Satora? There should be other people named Kazai too, doesn't it?
Though, I'm really much more of an idiot than you think, I know pretty much about this world. Satora just texted me something, let me read it.
[Satora: Hey Kazai, uhh... Where are you?]
[Me: At the Library. I don't want you to come here, though.]
[Satora: Oh okay, I'll not go there. Have fun!]
[Me: Thanks.]
Ugh... Satora's a good friend of mine, but I currently want to be in a quiet place. Satora's the leader of the squad, and she invited me when I graduated from high school.
High school was really hard, ugh... Anyways, let's find a good book to read, or maybe read some news. I thought to read the news first.
[2 young girls gone missing mysteriously]
[The 2 girls are related to each other, and the last place they were seen is the wheat fields. Please report if you find them, this is a photo of both of them.]

I wanted to say "Interesting" but it's the library. I should keep quiet. There's nothing to worry about right now, because these 2 girls are all kids I don't know.
Speaking of kids, I used to play with some. When I was at recess and got to the Naiko Elementary School, I played with them and they all were nice to me. The Elementary School isn't far, like the ones in Utoko, so I didn't have to call a taxi. But... the 2 kids have a family.
...Nevermind, someone could be looking for them already. I don't know which "wheat fields" it is though, they didn't describe it...
Forget about it. Let's just sit down here and think about something. What things haven't I known about yet?
Of course, there has to be something beyond the world, right? The space? The stars? The...
The space and the stars are commonly knew about, but the... What is it? I can't remember, but I remember that it used to be a long time ago since I embraced it. Maybe I'm just imagining it?
...Nevermind. I shouldn't think too much.
I walked around to find some books to read, and nothing caught my interest, then I forgot I wasn't in the mood to read. Let me think of something...
"What makes me happy? Talking with others, well, does make me happy." I thought, and I smiled. I wanted to talk with someone, and that makes me happy, for someone who doesn't like to be lonely. Someday, I want to go somewhere when I get an opportunity to take a break. I just want to be happy, that's all.
I looked around, and Sai's here. "Sai, why did you come here?" I said. Sai was silent, and he sat down on my table, using his phone. He texted me something.
[Sai: Let's talk about something, Kazai! Libraries are supposed to be quiet, so we can talk here.]
[Me: Sure! What else?]
[Sai: ...]
[Me: ?]
[Sai: What's the most chaotic song you've ever heard of?]
[Me: Arcane Corruption by Soundbarrier.]
[Sai: Oh, didn't know you liked that song! I just straight up ignored it because I'm not quite a fan of Soundbarrier. Drop by Soundbarrier is my favorite of his songs! How did you find it?]
[Me: Do you really want me to spoil a rhythm game?]
[Sai: I don't care.]
[Me: It's from uh... Etherdisc, your favorite rhythm game. It's in the latest Story Pack. Why haven't you unlocked it yet? It's 1000 BPM, btw]
[Sai: Prophecy's so hard!]
[Me: Goddamnit Sai, just play it in Easy difficulty. It's just that guy charting some crazy charts...]
[Sai: Prophecy's easy difficulty is rated a 10, Kazai! Next question, ummm...]
[Sai: What's interesting about Natoruyo?]
[Me: There's some kind of machine that can help you make songs. And also, just practice on the side stories first.]
[Sai: What does it look like? That music machine?]
[Me: A computer.]
[Sai: Oh okay, I'm gonna go read books now!]
[Me: Bye! Even though you're going to read books near me.]
I put down my phone and looked around. I'm a bit thirsty. But not THAT KIND of thirsty! I'm not naughty-minded!!!
Anyways... I walked outside of the library, leaving Sai there.
