Chapter 8: Utoko City: Night

After Katasu and Kinato finished their ice creams, the squad ate dinner together, and got to sleep inside of their car. Dettonotto Kazai and Luka slept together on the floor while the rest sleeps on the seat. Ruku also slept in the car. "Well, this place's slightly uncomfortable to sleep in..." Dettonotto complained. "Yeah, I know right. It's just your back hurting, maybe give it a massage." Kazai said. "Hey Kazai... I'm still hungry..." Luka said. "Stop complaining, you just ate your favorite noodles an hour ago, Luka." Haku said. "Hey! What's happening here? Why are you guys talking, I have to sleep!" Satora said. "We're just talking about how uncomfortable it is sleeping in our car." Dettonotto said. Sai is scared, again, because the conversation woke him up in the middle of the night. Sai looks around, and he noticed that Kinato and Katasu was gone. He wonders if they were kidnapped or something. "Umm... W-where's Katasu and Kinato....? I-I'm scared..." "They're going to the bathroom. They told me when I was having trouble sleeping, because they see me as the only person who's awake." Dettonotto sighs and goes to sleep. 

Katasu and Kinato got out of the bathroom. There are street light everywhere, and they're a little bit far away from the limousine. In front of them, there is an intersection, which the way to the limousine is to walk back. They decided to explore the city by themselves, as if they never seen anything in it. They found a small shop, which has interesting products Katasu could buy from, Katasu checks their wallet, and it has some money. Katasu walks in the shop, and looks around the stuff they could buy. Katasu picked up a lighter, and a glove that can emit electrical power. "Well, this can help me later... I should buy things for Kinato too. What do you want, Kinato?" Katasu said, and gave Kinato a notebook and a pen to Kinato to write on. Kinato wrote "I want new notebook and pen, and electric gloves thing. Don't forget candy!" Katasu bought all of the things Kinato wanted, and walked out of the store. Katasu then said "Kinato, there's an alley here, should we explore it?" Kinato nodded. Both of them goes to an alley, and finds a person. "Hey kid, what can I do for you?" It was a person in a hood. "What else can you do?" Katasu replied to the mysterious man. "I can do something if anything's bothering you. You can trust me. My name is Zach, I'm a foreigner from Lothonia." said Zach, a nice-looking person. Katasu notices a car next to the alley. "So... Can I ask a question?" Katasu replied. "Go ahead." said Zach. "Why are you in an alley?" Katasu said. Zach then said to Katasu: "It's a long story... But I'm now a taxi driver. I saw someone that looks exactly like you, too. I heard you have a squad, and this cat's name is Katasu, right?" Katasu nodded. "I was looking forward to joining your squad, but I don't have any special powers. I can secretly help you escape to your squad." Zach said. Katasu then replied to Zach with a calm tone: "Well, you can join our squad if you want. I don't have a power, neither does the girl next to me." Zach then proceeded to not join Katasu's squad, but to secretly help them. Zach used Katasu's phone to text himself, and made Katasu save Zach's number into their contacts. Katasu and Kinato walked away happily. 

Meanwhile, at Satora's car...
"Why did they go to the bathroom for a long time? Did they get out of the bathroom and go somewhere?" Satora said. "They're coming, so don't worry." Dettonotto said. Katasu and Kinato weren't coming. They didn't want to sleep, so they kept exploring Utoko. The streetlights are still open, but everyone that lives in a house are sleeping. Even the ice cream shop owner is sleeping, but Zach didn't sleep. They were going to an another place, and Kinato writed to Katasu that she wants to go to the sewers. Katasu replied that the sewers are too disgusting and dangerous. They decided to go to the same shop that Katasu bought electric gloves from. The shopkeeper is still awake, and Katasu decides to search the items if there is anymore interesting things to sell. They found some interesting stuff, like trading card games, books, combat tools, and the most interesting ones, a magical orb. They were deciding if they should buy it. Katasu decided to write in their own notebook for Kinato to feel more comfortable chatting with Katasu. Katasu writed "Kinato, there's some books, TCG decks, combat tools, and some magical orbs, do you want any of them?" Kinato writed "Sure, buy me Naneka Seren's TCG deck, it seems really powerful and I hope it's like in the comic book I read. Buy me the new book of that comic in front of you, get both of us a knife, and get the magical orb. I wanted to play that TCG for a long time, and I know you wanted to play it too." Katasu writed "I'm scared of knives... can I not buy it?" Kinato writed "You should buy it!!!" They bought the items they needed, and wandered around untill 8PM, when they slept in the limousine.

[Notice] Discontinutation of Monochrome Blankness ('s current storyline)

I'm really sorry, everyone, if there is even anyone who reads my stuff. I wish to discontinue this novel project of mine due to a lot of reasons. Some of those reasons include me wishing to pursue further knowledge on game development, and to improve on my writing. I felt like the pacing of the chapters was way too fast, and the storywriting's quality is poor, which resulted in me being in an art block.  I also want to spend my time doing what I love, and maybe I'll come back to love writing again. It's up to your own interpretation on how the story ends, and I'll continue writing Side Stories or Extra Chapters here and then. Well, just so you know, Ambroise and Kazai are alive and well! From now on, I will be adding date and time to the chapters I write. It's gonna be a different story, yet I'll continue it in the universe that I built with love and care.

Chapter 1: The Beginning

[10:34 PM July 8, 2026, Kazai's house] While everyone was sleeping, Satora was looking outside the window at Kazai's house while sipping some tea. There was suddenly a thunderstorm, and the thunder was abnormally too strong. She thought beforehand that it was a disaster. "Gah! W-wait, there's... Is this a disaster?" She walks to the bedroom, where everyone is sleeping. She woke up everyone by shouting "Hey! Wake up! There's a dis-" "AAAHHHH! Don't just wake me up when I'm trying to have a good sleep, Sato!" Sai was screaming by fear, it's mostly that he's weak-minded. Everyone woke up, except Luka. She is a childish person who often likes to sleep. "Sai, calm down.
