Chapter 9: Utoko City: Morning

The squad is still sleeping in the limousine, untill someone wakes up. "Yawnnn... That was a great sleep, meow..." Katasu yawned, and patted Kinato. Katasu thought she looked cute when she sleeps. Satora'a alarm clock was triggered, and Sai woke up and got scared. Everyone also woke up, except Luka and Dettonotto. "What a great morning today! What are we going to do?" Satora asked. "We'll stay here for a bit. This looks like a nice place to stay, look at all of these busy people going to work. It looks peaceful now." Haku said. Katasu opens the limousine door, and breathes in the fresh air from outside. "Ah~ The fresh air in the morning does smell good! This is my first time breathing it in a while, because Kano keeps locking me up in a cage~" Katasu said. "W-wait, Katasu! I didn't lock you up in a cage!" Kano said. "Of course, I was joking, nya!!!" Katasu said. Kano sighed. The squad goes to a restaurant after taking a bath in a bathroom, and waits for Luka to wake up. "Hey Luka! The spicy noodles promotion ends in 3 hours!" Kazai said, then Luka woke up. Dettonotto also woke up, and they all got to a noodles shop. Katasu also sees Zach eating the spicy noodles and liking the spiciness, but they decided to not mention it. Zach used to proceed to help Katasu and Kinato secretly, so Katasu doesn't want to mention it. Everyone was eating spicy noodles, and Luka said "It's so spicy! I LOVE IT!" Everyone also liked it too. "I know right, spicy noodles are the things that most Utoko residents like. And of course, they make the spiciest noodles while also making them tasty, meow!" Katasu said happily, while making a cat sound. Katasu wrote in a notebook: "Kinato, do you want to play the TCG in the limousine?" Kinato wrote "Of course! I wanna know how good you are in this!" Katasu then said to Kazai "Kazani, me and Kinato are going to the limousine to play some card games, can we go there?" Katasu said. Kazai replied "Sure! You're really close to Kinato now, take care of her, and don't run into any strangers!" "Kay!" Katasu smiled at Kazai. 

The rest of the squad continued to eat their spicy noodles. "Do you want something?" Kazai said. "Kazai, I've been wondering, if Katasu goes to the bathroom, do they go to the girl's bathroom or the boy's bathroom?" Luka asked. "I think Katasu goes to the girl's bathroom, but only Kano really knows. Any more questions?" Kazai replied. "Yes, hmmm, what's a Aoratos Aimoraggo Effect?" Luka said. "Well, it's a natural effect. If you're severly hurt, sometimes you will be unable to see yourself, and it's like being invisible, but other people can still see you." Kazai said. "Whoa! That's cool! You're really smart, Kazai!" Luka complimented her. Kazai then raised up a book and said "Luka, see what I'm holding? It's a book! I'm actually reading from this, haha! Well, we're leaving the cafeteria now, we paid the cashiers already, and let's check what Katasu and Kinato are doing..." Kazai said, and walked out of the cafeteria. She checked out on the limousine, and opens the door. "Oh hey there, Kazai! Who do you think will win?" Katasu said. "What deck are you using? Is that Takeshi Ranna's deck, and is Kinato is using Naneka Seren's deck?" Kazai asked. "You're correct! How did you know that?" Katasu said in suprise. "Well, I also play that card game too, I personally bought Kowaji Rekan's deck, which is pretty rare and isn't occasionally in stock. I also bought some booster cards for that deck, so my deck is kind of hard to beat." Kazai said. (no this is not gonna become a card game story) Katasu replied to Kazai: "Woah! Kowaji's my favorite character-nya! How did you get that fr-" "I said it's not really in stock, but it got it somewhere in Utoko, just to let you know. There are also boosters for Takeshi and Naneka's decks." Kazai replied, interrupting Katasu's question. Katasu continued playing with Kinato, and everyone in the squad was there. Luka shouted happily to Kazai "Hey there Kazai! Where are we going next?" "We're gonna go to Natoruyo." Kazai said. There was an explosion sound from far away. "AAAAA, WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE?" Sai screamed. "HEY, IT'S AN EXPLOSION, SAI-KONO! I'M SCARED!" Katasu shouted. "KINATO, Q-QUICKLY, PUT THE CARDS WHEREVER IT'S SAFE, THERE'S A DANGEROUS THING HAPPENING NOW, M-MEOW!" "Where is the explosion from, Satora?" Kazai said. "Nearby Utoko High School! We should go there!" Satora said while seeing all the citizens running for their life. Everyone got in the limousine and Satora quickly drived to the spot. It is far away from the place where the cafeteria is. "Ehh? Who exploded the city?" Kano said. "I don't know, Kano!" Katasu shouted at Kano.

[Notice] Discontinutation of Monochrome Blankness ('s current storyline)

I'm really sorry, everyone, if there is even anyone who reads my stuff. I wish to discontinue this novel project of mine due to a lot of reasons. Some of those reasons include me wishing to pursue further knowledge on game development, and to improve on my writing. I felt like the pacing of the chapters was way too fast, and the storywriting's quality is poor, which resulted in me being in an art block.  I also want to spend my time doing what I love, and maybe I'll come back to love writing again. It's up to your own interpretation on how the story ends, and I'll continue writing Side Stories or Extra Chapters here and then. Well, just so you know, Ambroise and Kazai are alive and well! From now on, I will be adding date and time to the chapters I write. It's gonna be a different story, yet I'll continue it in the universe that I built with love and care.

Chapter 1: The Beginning

[10:34 PM July 8, 2026, Kazai's house] While everyone was sleeping, Satora was looking outside the window at Kazai's house while sipping some tea. There was suddenly a thunderstorm, and the thunder was abnormally too strong. She thought beforehand that it was a disaster. "Gah! W-wait, there's... Is this a disaster?" She walks to the bedroom, where everyone is sleeping. She woke up everyone by shouting "Hey! Wake up! There's a dis-" "AAAHHHH! Don't just wake me up when I'm trying to have a good sleep, Sato!"
