Side Story 1, Chapter 2: Just Some Engineering Basics

While I was reading the book, my phone ringed. Luka called me and I wonder if he got something for me.

"Hey Zachie, I got a call. Can I go to the balcony?" Katasu asked. Zach said "Sure! I'll listen if it's something important." I walked to Zach's balcony, and picked up.

Meanwhile, Zach was sitting on a table, walking around to make himself some instant ramen. He saw me run downstairs, and I returned upstairs with some sushi with salmon. "Hey Zach, do you want some salmon sushi?" I asked Zach. "Nah, I'm good." replied Zach, while he's walking gently, holding a bowl of instant ramen. I was eating my sushi happily, and finished it really quickly. "Where's the machine you needed help from me, Zach?" I said. "There's many of them, but it's gonna be worth the time. some of them needs 4 hands to operate though, so that's why I called you here... So, let's see, the first project..." Zach picked up something that looks like a sphere armor. I think an orbin could fit into that. "This is an orbin enhancer, which can make orbins more powerful. I only made a copy of it so far, and sold it to my friend." "But how are you supposed to rub it?" I was confused, because I didn't know much about magic stuff. "Anything built on an orbin can be rubbed to make it light up, Katasu." Zach replied, then gave Katasu a handwritten instruction of how to make an orbin enhancer. It was barely readable, but I didn't want to complain.

I found an interesting part of the orbin enhancer, it's something that projects laser. They have found this part simillar on the power gloves Zach made me wear earlier.

Zach prepared all the materials necessary to build at least 2 orbin enhancers. "So Katasu, connect 4 of the armor plates, and put the orbin power generator on it, put the enhancers on all of the sides. Repeat it again, but don't put the enhancers on the sides." I started building it, but I'm good at building, so Zach has to help me connect them together, using bolts. I'm a fast learner, so we built it really fast, faster than how Zach built it alone. I then made the other half, but first put the enhancers on the sides. I have no idea how this works, but It's gonna be cool! Zach picks up his orbin, and told me to put it in the armor.

I put his orbin into the armor, then put the other half, screwed the bolts, and then it was finished. "Thanks, Katasu! Now, can you make an another one by yourself? You're a great helper! Also, don't put both halves together yet, until you obtain an orbin." Zach said. He rubbed the orbin armor, and it activated. He tried using it on a shard of glass, and it hit the target dummy faster, and broke its head! "Woah, cool meow! It really enhanced really much!" Katasu said in suprise. Zach rubbed it again, and it stopped floating. The armor was some kind of transparent metal. (yes, that exists in this universe)

"Is it time to take a break now? Lemme see..." Zach looked at his watch and found out that it's already 11 AM. (implying katasu woke up at 9) Zach is the type of person who eats lunch at 11AM. He proceeds to microwave his 4 grilled cheeses and puts it on the table. I then checked my own delivery app of my own shop. There was no angry direct messages from anyone, because there are some employees working for me at the shop without making md lose money. (because katasu owns a LEGALLY LEGALISED LEGAL money printer)

I checks on what else to buy, and Zach tries to make me notice him by handing me a raw fish, and I tried to grab the fish, but Zach pulled it away... What a jerk. I put down my phone and ran towards the fish, while Zach runs around the room. "Stop running, it's not funny meow!" I shouted at Zach angrily, while standing there tired with my tail wagging. "Katasu, do you want some grilled cheese?" Zach made Katasu sit down on the table and calm them down. I said "NYAAA!!! GRILLED CHEESE IS MY FAVORTE!!!" and quickly grabbed the grilled cheese! Even though there's no fish, I ate it happily with Zach, while I looked at Zach's workshop. There's a PC in it, and I wonder what's in it.

[Notice] Discontinutation of Monochrome Blankness ('s current storyline)

I'm really sorry, everyone, if there is even anyone who reads my stuff. I wish to discontinue this novel project of mine due to a lot of reasons. Some of those reasons include me wishing to pursue further knowledge on game development, and to improve on my writing. I felt like the pacing of the chapters was way too fast, and the storywriting's quality is poor, which resulted in me being in an art block.  I also want to spend my time doing what I love, and maybe I'll come back to love writing again. It's up to your own interpretation on how the story ends, and I'll continue writing Side Stories or Extra Chapters here and then. Well, just so you know, Ambroise and Kazai are alive and well! From now on, I will be adding date and time to the chapters I write. It's gonna be a different story, yet I'll continue it in the universe that I built with love and care.

Chapter 1: The Beginning

[10:34 PM July 8, 2026, Kazai's house] While everyone was sleeping, Satora was looking outside the window at Kazai's house while sipping some tea. There was suddenly a thunderstorm, and the thunder was abnormally too strong. She thought beforehand that it was a disaster. "Gah! W-wait, there's... Is this a disaster?"
