Side Story 1, Chapter 3: Hey There, Raki!

I was looking at my phone, watching funny videos and pictures. Then, someone knocked on the door. "Hey Katasu, who's there?" Zach said.

I opened the door. It was my best best friend, Raki Zaro! "RAKI!!!" I shouted and hugged Raki like we haven't met for an eternity. Raki hugged back and he blushed a little bit. "KATASU!!! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!!" Raki screamed happily. "You guys know each other?" Zach asked me. "Yeah! Katasu's my best best friend! I love him!" Raki shouted happily. "Are you two in a relationship?" Zach said. I blushed and my tail wagged. It was a really weird question to ask. "N-no! We're not dating, mrrow!!" I said then looked away. We're just best friends, Zach, we're not getting married! "Anyways, Zachie, what were you doing with Katasu?" Raki asked Zach. He replied "I invited her to help on my mechanism stuff. I last found her in an alley, so I thought Katasu could be useful, because Katasu looks like a fast guy, but she's clumsy." That's what he said about me. I swear, I'm not clumsy! He's lying, he doesn't know any much from me!

I'm still blushing from Zach's weird question. Raki asked Zach if he could help, and Zach said yes. I wonder what Raki is helping Zach with, so I followed Raki quietly. Zach is using his PC this time.

I've heard that Raki's a smart boy. That's why I befriended him.

We've been best friends since we were in Grade 3. That day, I was writing a nice fantasy story, and I saw Raki being bullied by some Grade 5 kids. I tried to save him, but the bullies ran after me instead, and I managed to escape. Tomorrow after that day, Raki thanked me for saving his life, because he was being tortured and hurt daily by some bullies. He was already an undead, even before we met, and it's because he was killed by a bully! This made him drop out really early, he dropped out of school at Grade 3, but he still meets me at my shop daily, and teaches me for my tests. Even though Naiko is called the "Magical Safe Zone", people could still be killed there. Naiko only prevents people from using magic really dangerously, and it limits powers at the point where it could destroy a city. but Raki was killed by a lightning power. When I see Raki dead even before we were friends, without even knowing his face or name, I called a necromancer on my phone. That way, Raki was revived! Raki's past was depressing for me, though.

I don't quite know why bullies wants to go this far and kill a kid just because he's a shy and quiet person, and because he doesn't have any powers. Raki's from Utoko, but he moved into Naiko because it's safer there. The reason why he's at Utoko right now is because he's taking a month-long vacation from Naiko and meet some people. 

Enough talk, now, I walked to Zach, and Zach was listening to some lo-fi music with bluetooth headphones connected to his gaming PC. I kinda wonder how he's rich enough to buy all these stuff! We're relaxing on our couches right now, and watching our favorite anime series.

Zach brung out a machine that looks like a globe. It's a giant machine! "Woah! What does that do?" I asked Zach. He said "It's a machine that can call a mythical creature from the sky, the mythical creature is a giant purple bird with a pink aura around it. It's quite friendly to everyone, and only the chosen people can ride it, and give them commands. If there's no chosen people nearby, it's gonna give itself their own commands, and attack the bad people. I believe it has a power to control gravity." "Awesome!" Raki and I shouted at the same time. "Sadly, we're just gonna work on this tomorrow." Zach said, while putting away the machine, and putting down a sword, that looks cool! That's the coolest sword I've ever seen! I'm kinda disappointed that Zach didn't let us work on the mythical creature thing though.

"This is a prototype named Prototype Halcyon, a mechanical sword equipped with a mechanical glove, to prevent it from dropping. Prototype Halcyon is the sword I'm equipping to assist you on your adventures, and to take care of bad guys back in Utoko, so you don't have to worry." Zach said. "The design looks cool, meow!" I said.

It's the afternoon now, though, I ate my lunch already. I wonder what the sword does, and if it's finished, that would be super cool, nya!

[Notice] Discontinutation of Monochrome Blankness ('s current storyline)

I'm really sorry, everyone, if there is even anyone who reads my stuff. I wish to discontinue this novel project of mine due to a lot of reasons. Some of those reasons include me wishing to pursue further knowledge on game development, and to improve on my writing. I felt like the pacing of the chapters was way too fast, and the storywriting's quality is poor, which resulted in me being in an art block.  I also want to spend my time doing what I love, and maybe I'll come back to love writing again. It's up to your own interpretation on how the story ends, and I'll continue writing Side Stories or Extra Chapters here and then. Well, just so you know, Ambroise and Kazai are alive and well! From now on, I will be adding date and time to the chapters I write. It's gonna be a different story, yet I'll continue it in the universe that I built with love and care.
