Side Story 1, Chapter 5: Sword-machine

I woke up! "Ahhhhh, that was a really good sleep!" I said and yawned. Not to mention that I drooled on Zach's bed.

"Good morning, Zach! How's Halcyon now?" I said. "Katasu, it's 6PM, and you slept at 4PM. And, Halcyon is nearly finished now." Zach said, and walked to me. I'm still sitting on my bed, though. "One more piece and it's... done!" Raki said, and ran to me. "Katasu!!! Prototype Halcyon is done!" He hugged me, but he got too close to my face, and I slightly blushed because I thought he was going to kiss me.

"The finished version is really cool, Katasu!" Raki hugged me tightly. I can't really hug back, because I can't move my arms. "Get off me, Raki! I'm uncomfortable!" I tried to push Raki off! Raki's okay with that, though. Kazai texted me something, so I checked it and replied.

I walked to see Halcyon, and it's really cool! Zach got us to the basement while he's holding Berserker and Halcyon, and slashed a dummy from far away! "Whoo!! How?" I said. "You didn't see the purple sweeping edges?" Zach slashed the sword again, and it was really fast I can barely see it! This would be really powerful!

"How much does that sword weigh?" Raki asked Zach, and Zach said "It weighs 100 kilograms. Prototype Berserker is capable of lifting up to a ton, so it seems ligjt and it's more powerful like that." He then turned the sword into a bow, summoned an energy arrow, and shot the dummy. "I'm not good at using a bow, so it missed a bit. It's not too powerful, though. You can make the energy arrows explosive, or you can make it a threatening shot by making the arrow disappear mid-air." Zach explained, and handed the sword and the gloves to me. He asked me to test out the sword, and I lifted the sword. It's really light, like a piece of paper! I tried to slash a dummy from far away, and it went through almost instantly! I'm a bit scared of it! So, I turned it into a bow, aimed at the head, and it shot right at the spot where I aimed! Am I just good at using ranged weapons or something? 

"Katasu, do you like it? Hehe!" Zach chuckled and I nodded my head. "What are we gonna do next?" Raki asked Zach. "Is it 5PM now? Lemme see... We'll wait a bit and we'll go to the restaurant, It's just been 10 minutes, but I'm hungry... Let's go." Zach walked to his taxi car, and Raki took the back seat. I took the back seat too, because I love him! As a friend, of course! We're not boyfriends, meow!

"Hey Katasu, what are you gonna eat at the restaurant? I heard they have pancakes!" Raki asked. "Pancakes? They're one of my favorites! But I kinda like grilled cheese more though. Haven't ate pancakes for a month, and I still miss eating them!" I said. "That's cool, pancakes are the best!" Raki said. I don't quite agree, but pancakes taste really good for me!" 

It's been a minute since we're driving to the restaurant, and I see Kazani and Satora at the café! I'm too young to drink coffee, anyways. Zach also brung his weapons with him! No wonder I see something glowing purple in here. I picked up my phone, and played a rhythm game named Shadeseeker. I do play Etherdisc though, but I kinda enjoy Shadeseeker more.

"Katasu, do you play Shadeseeker?" Raki asked me. "Yeah! How did you know?" I asked back. "I'm looking at your phone! You're so good at this game! Do you like Evening Shower?" He asked. "That song is quite fun to play, but it's literally everywhere. It's a good song anyways! My favorite is Shadowgate by L001! The drag notes are really fun!" I said. (yes this is still fantasy)

It's taking really long, and I'm really hungry! We're here now, so we walked out of the car and sat down on an table. A beautiful-looking waiter came to me and said "Hello there, little girl! What do you want to eat today?" I said "I want some grilled cheese, please!" then Raki said "And some pancakes!" then Zach said "Spicy noodles and ham sandwiches, please. I'll pay."

"Hey Katasu, do you want to play Etherdisc Co-op?" Raki said, and I opened Etherdisc. Raki connected to me, and chose one of the hardest songs in Etherdisc. Later, the food came to the table, and I ate my grilled chesse happily. Everyone seems to be eating their food happily, too! "Hey Katasu, want some pancakes?" Raki said. I like how Raki sees me as a protective person, which I am! I took his pancakes and gave him grilled cheese, and I ate the pancakes. "It's really delicious! But grilled cheese is still my favorite, nya!" I said.

[Notice] Discontinutation of Monochrome Blankness ('s current storyline)

I'm really sorry, everyone, if there is even anyone who reads my stuff. I wish to discontinue this novel project of mine due to a lot of reasons. Some of those reasons include me wishing to pursue further knowledge on game development, and to improve on my writing. I felt like the pacing of the chapters was way too fast, and the storywriting's quality is poor, which resulted in me being in an art block.  I also want to spend my time doing what I love, and maybe I'll come back to love writing again. It's up to your own interpretation on how the story ends, and I'll continue writing Side Stories or Extra Chapters here and then. Well, just so you know, Ambroise and Kazai are alive and well! From now on, I will be adding date and time to the chapters I write. It's gonna be a different story, yet I'll continue it in the universe that I built with love and care.
