Chapter 18: The Utoko Sunset

Kazai looks at other side of the cliff, and saw Katasu get out of a car. Kazai said to her squad "Katasu arrived LET'S GO!!!!!!!!" and dances. "Guess I'm the one who tells you to shut up now, huh?" Haku said and covered Kazai's mouth. 

Kazai sat down and checks the calendar. "Tomorrow is a holiday, everyone! Let's buy gifts for each other tomorrow!" She said. "Yay!!!" Luka cheered and talked to Sai. "Who are we buying for tomorrow, Sai, sai?" Sai replied "W-we're buying gifts for each other! Don't suddenly talk to me, Luka!" "I'm really sorry!!!! And I was just kidding by the way." Luka replied and hugged Sai. Sai looked at his phone and installs the app for Katasu's shop for later. Sai saw Kinato walking away to the other side of the cliff. Meanwhile, Sai thought...

"It's been a year since I've met my family, and I can... barely remember who they are. I heard Haku-san and Kazai talk about the Sea of Memories... I want to go there too. I've lost a thousand memories ever since the 'incident' happened. It was an incident that changed my life, forever. I'm glad Luka's still normal after that.

This is an interesting place to see, but I think that there's gonna be more amazing places.

The worlds we live in are really mysterious. You can even travel to different worlds without even knowing, and get trapped in there, and I'm scared about that..."

Sai picked up his binoculars and tries to spot something on a mountain. He found an interesting door that probably leads to a mysterious room, and noted [Mysterious door spotted on Soritsu Cliff at the mountain on the right] then took a picture.

Meanwhile at the Soritsu-ichi Café, Dettonotto and Kano are walking around the cliff. Dettonotto said "Is Katasu and Raki all of your squadmates yet?" Kano nodded his head. "I've been wondering, Kano, how old are you?" Dettonotto said, and Kano replied "I'm 15, and how about you?" "I'm 23." Dettonotto replied and slept on the table. "DETTONOTTO THIS ISN'T NIGHTTIME YET!!!!" Kano shouted and shaked Dettonotto violently. "Kano, don't shake my clothes! My 10000¥ shirt is gonna rip!" Dettonotto woke up and shouted at Kano.

Kazai shouted happily at everyone "The best scenery is coming! Let's take a squad photo here!" and flied her drone.  Everyone ran to the edge of the cliff, including Katasu, Raki, and Zach. The photo was taken, and Kazai pours her cola for everyone in the squad. Kimazu can be seen smiling near the photo, as Kimazu secretly appears in the photo. Kazai sends the photo from the drone to the group chat and texts to them "Here's the picture!". In the group chat, there are every squadmates here, except Raki and Zach, which Kazai noticed that they haven't been added yet. Kazai asks Katasu to add Raki and Zach to the group, and Katasu did it immediately.

Kano was trying to wake Dettonotto up, and the sun is setting. Luka shouted "Let's relax in the car, everyone!" And everyone got in the car. Kano was trying to drag Dettonotto into the car, and succeeded. 

Luka and Sai then proceeded to play Shadeseeker with each other. Kano puts up his laptop and starts to chat with someone.

[Kano: Ayo! How's it going?]
[???: Pretty well. I'm at some interesting place right now.]
[Kano: Hm? Can you send me a picture?]
[??? sent a picture.]

The picture that the anonymous person sent looked something like a library, with only red, blue, and green books that looks the same, but it's actually books in the same series.

[???: Looks interesting, right?]
[Kano: What place is thìs called?]
[???: It's called the Ritsurin Library, the special zone. Everyone else isn't allowed to read the books, because they have said to be in an unknown language. It's just a place to admire the largeness of the library. You can find it in Ritsurin, northeast of the central tower. They said that some of them says about the secrets of this world, I guess?]
[Kano: Interesting!]

Kano turned off his laptop without even saying goodbye, and slept.

The night skies are quiet. The stars on the sky can't really be seen, but it's a normal thing.

[Notice] Discontinutation of Monochrome Blankness ('s current storyline)

I'm really sorry, everyone, if there is even anyone who reads my stuff. I wish to discontinue this novel project of mine due to a lot of reasons. Some of those reasons include me wishing to pursue further knowledge on game development, and to improve on my writing. I felt like the pacing of the chapters was way too fast, and the storywriting's quality is poor, which resulted in me being in an art block.  I also want to spend my time doing what I love, and maybe I'll come back to love writing again. It's up to your own interpretation on how the story ends, and I'll continue writing Side Stories or Extra Chapters here and then. Well, just so you know, Ambroise and Kazai are alive and well! From now on, I will be adding date and time to the chapters I write. It's gonna be a different story, yet I'll continue it in the universe that I built with love and care.
