Chapter 21: Preparing for Natoruyo

It's 7AM.
Everyone woke up, except Kazai, who already woke up at midnight. "Wahhhh... I'm so sleepy..." Luka yawned. "Luka! Spicy noodles sale with carolina reaper in the noodles!" Kazai said. "Wait, really? Let's go!" Luka said, then Kazai told Luka that she was kidding. Luka became unhappy, and then cried quietly. Satora drived into the restaurant and parked there. Everyone ate here as usual, except that Luka cries because she didn't get her noodles with carolina reapers in it. Carolina Reapers are known for one of spiciest things in the world.

Everyone ate their breakfast faster than usual. "Luka's so childish, but she can be cute sometimes..." Kazai whispered to herself. The squad got back to the limousine and Kazai said "Last night, I got into an alley near the Soritsu Cliff and found a world with some wheat fields. It looks kind of foggy and cold, though." "Hmm, interesting! What did you find inside there?" Luka said. "A kid's drawing. There's also a train station here, when I rode the train with someone, I got here, and the world became some foggy fields of grass."

Kazai handed the photo to Luka. Luka felt happy and put the drawing into her wallet. "Where are we going today?" Luka asked. "We're just staying here until Katasu comes, and we'll go to Natoruyo for real." Kazai said. "Is Katasu gonna come here today? I wish it's today!" Luka said. "Zach texted me that he, Katasu and Raki are gonna upgrade our car first then we'll go there! Zach is gonna come with us, too!" Kazai said. Luka cheered happily.

"Meanwhile, let's have some talk. What's the city that you want to go to the most, in the Mokkato region?" Satora talked. "I forgot... what cities are in the Mokkato region again?" Kazai said.

"Kazai, the cities in the Mokkato Region are Naiko, Utoko, Natoruyo, Pantora, Ritsurin, and Hanasori." Satora said. "Then, ah, I wanted to go to Pantora the most. But I kinda wanted to go outside Mokkato." Kazai replied. Luka said "I wanna go to Hanasori! There's a nice beach here!" Sai said "But Risurin beaches are better!"

Sai and Luka didn't argue. They just agreed that both are the best. Their white shirts got a bit stained. Kazai started to look into her phone. Ms. Kanoka texted her.

[Kanoka: You found Esche?]
[Kazai: Yes!]
[Kanoka: Good job! Esche told me he got really bored and drew a person that kept appearing in his mind.]
[Kazai: Is it a drawing of a tall guy who wears a coat?]
[Kanoka: Yes, it is!]
[Kazai: Who's that?]
[Kanoka: It's a person that I've encountered a long time ago. He's the father of a kid, purple hair, round glasses and red eyes.]
[Kazai: Do I have to find that kid, or the father?]
[Kanoka: Ask the child. She might know where he is. The girl is in Naiko. Street N2, Apartment 101.]
[Kazai: The girl seems famillar to the people I've seen back in Naiko. She said her dad is working in Lothonia.]
[Kanoka: Wow! Can you tell me what's the kid's name?]
[Kazai: If I try to remember it, it's probably Kasuri Mano.]
[Kanoka: Kasuri Mano, I noted that.]

Kazai wonder what Kasuri is doing right now, but that isn't the case. They needed to go to Natoruyo first. There wasn't much enemied as Kazai thought, but sometimes they have to go back there.

They patiently wait for Katasu to return. While they wait, Haku reads a game fanfiction and gets interested.

Kazai decides to buy some magical stuff before their journey in Natoruyo. "Landmines... RPGs... Magical orbs... That's all we need." Kazai said while she filled the trunk with stuff. "Kazai, are you that crazy to buy a landmine, using my police card?" Satora said. "Kano told me that he's gonna use this entire car to attack anyway." Kazai said. "Can't argue with that." Satora replied, while checking her musket-like gun. "This gun should be not too powerful to activate landmines and explosives, because these bullets will just pierce through the explosive, Satora." Sai said. "You're a genius, Sai!" Luka complimented Sai. "Thanks, I guess?" Sai thanked Luka.
