Side Story 1, Chapter 9: Kimazura Saino

It's a dark place, and it's hard to see anything at night, so I can barely see anything. Kazani also gave me a cat and ran away.

It also has a name tag, "Kimazura's pet", wait, Kimazu has a pet? Never knew that! 

I walked a long way to the bathroom. without seeing anything, and I found a bright place. It was the restaurant. It's cold here, but luckily Kimazu gave me a scarf!

I walked in the bathroom. There's so many blood in here. The 12th bathroom... It's locked. I can see some shoes there! I tried to climb there, but my arms can't reach. I just thought about crawling inside the room, but I'm too big to fit in the door. Ah, right, I can just use the knife to pick the lock!

I grabbed a knife, I'm scared of knives!!!! I broke the lock, and found Kimazu. "Kimazu!!! You're still alive!!!" I shouted. Kimazu tried to grab my head. "Katasu... I've recovered..." she said in a gentle voice. "But I can't seem to move..." Kimazu's still crying. "I never thought I'd see you again."

"Kimazu, is this your cat?" I handed a cat to Kimazu. It jumped from my hand and got on her lap. "Yes... Thank you, it's been gone for weeks..." Kimazu seems to not have enough energy to grab the cat. Kimazu tried to hold my hand. "You're too far away, Katasu, can you get closer?" Kimazu said, and I slowly got closer. She hugged me, and I hugged her back. I felt some dried blood at her skin. "Kimazu..." I said.

Kimazu stopped hugging me and I got back. My black jacket touched some of Kimazu's blood, but that's fine. I don't have any mittens, so my hands feel cold.

Kimazu tried to follow me, but she fell. I grabbed her, and brought her back to my house. Kazai is still at the alley, so I suppose I'll just leave her at the front door. I got into my house, and the laptop, still at Zach's house, had a new message.

[???: So, you saved Kimazura.]
[Me: Yeah.]
[???: I know that they're the most important person in your life, but they won't continue living for long. Their injuries can't be treated.]
[Me: What about Haku? He has healing powers!]
[???: Noted. Didn't know about that at all, healing powers are really rare.]
[Me: Anything else to say, Specane?]
[???: That's not my name.]
[Me: Then what's specane?]
[???: A clue.]

A clue? That seems like a name of a person.
A password?

I'll try typing random things in this thing...
[Me: Fracture]
[???: ?]
[Me: Ouroboros]
[???: What do you mean?]
[Me: Destrudo]
[???: So you decided to type random stuff to see how I respond. What an creative idea, but that won't work on me.]

That didn't work, and that program weirdo knows what I'm doing. I'll leave this thing alone for a while, I'll go Full Combo some songs in Shadeseeker first...

It's still midnight, and Kimazu didn't walk away. Nice. I'll check on my roommates first.

They're awake, at midnight?

"Katasu! We woke up early because we've had enough sleep! I don't know what to do at this time, though, maybe a pat?" Raki then patted me on the head. It feels good! Raki then stopped patting me, but I said "Raki, pat me more, nya nya~!" 

Raki sat down on Zach's bed, and I lied down on Raki's lap. Raki patted me, and it felt relaxing. I feel more happy now, yay! I also purred!

I wonder what's Kazani doing outside~

"Katasu, what happened that made you wake up at midnight?" Zach said. "Your computer started by itself, and then a strange chat program comes and tests my brain. Also, my sibling Kimazu almost died, thank god she isn't dead yet." I said.

"What happened? Did someone hurt Kimazu?" Zach said. "Jokou Namisuwa hurt her!" I said. "Oh, that teacher. I'll get revenge for Kimazu. He broke in several and killed several children, and I don't want any students like me to die." Zach said. "Go for Jokou, Zach! I'm rooting for ya!" I said.

I'm feeling better now, knowing Zach will go attack Jokou. That teacher is scary, though. Jokou seems like a powerful person, like he broke prison several times

Zach seems really angry. I wonder why.

I gotta go take a shower for now before I go building machines... "Katasu! Wanna take a bath with me? It's a really big bath Zach got here!" Raki said. "Meow, I kinda think I could." I said.

[Notice] Discontinutation of Monochrome Blankness ('s current storyline)

I'm really sorry, everyone, if there is even anyone who reads my stuff. I wish to discontinue this novel project of mine due to a lot of reasons. Some of those reasons include me wishing to pursue further knowledge on game development, and to improve on my writing. I felt like the pacing of the chapters was way too fast, and the storywriting's quality is poor, which resulted in me being in an art block.  I also want to spend my time doing what I love, and maybe I'll come back to love writing again. It's up to your own interpretation on how the story ends, and I'll continue writing Side Stories or Extra Chapters here and then. Well, just so you know, Ambroise and Kazai are alive and well! From now on, I will be adding date and time to the chapters I write. It's gonna be a different story, yet I'll continue it in the universe that I built with love and care.

Chapter 1: The Beginning

[10:34 PM July 8, 2026, Kazai's house] While everyone was sleeping, Satora was looking outside the window at Kazai's house while sipping some tea. There was suddenly a thunderstorm, and the thunder was abnormally too strong. She thought beforehand that it was a disaster. "Gah! W-wait, there's... Is this a disaster?"
