Chapter 23: Mobile Hallways

[Time skip, 7 months later...]


"It's December now!" said Luka, excited.


Everyone walked to the limousine room.


Satora started the car and said "We're going to Natoruyo!" Everyone cheered, except Kinato and Haku. Luka seems like the happiest person on earth right now.


Everyone was bored and they were trying out the new rooms. Satora and Zach sat in the Mobile Hallway driver seats, so it looked like a ghost was driving in the car if looked from outside. At the dining room table, Kinato was playing cards with Katasu and playing against Kazai. "Kazai, I cast a damage spell! You take 5 damage! You lost!" Katasu put a card on the table. "Not so fast! I revive myself, then you take 10 damage!" Kazai responded. Kinato made a scared face, then responded by slamming a card into the table. "Way to go, Kinato! You got the instant-win card!" Katasu and Kinati cheered, and Kazai smiled. "You two are really cute, and you even beat me!" Kazai said. "Let's rest for now."


Luka and Sai are sitting with Haku like Haku is a father to them. They're just chilling at the table. 


Meanwhile, Kazai writes a note to herself...

[I've already gone to the Sea of Memories, and they don't quite bring back memories for me. But there is a place where it brings back all kinds of memories.


I just remembered I had another form. The form that has the key to the Sea of Memories. No one knows about it, but I want to tell them.]


She doesn't feel anything right now, but she just sees everyone being happy, sad, or angry. 


She wonders what her friends back in Naiko are up t9 right now, since she mainly lives there and she had made many friends there. She used to live in Risurin.


She cleans her glasses, and puts it back on. "..." 


Kazai looks outside. It was a pretty long road. Kazai never knows what happens next, but she smiles, like nothing bad is going to happen.


The storm is approaching. "Oh yeahhhh, it's the rain!" Kano looked outside the window in the Mobile Hallway. "Rain is a good and relaxing thing! But I don't like it when I'm wearing my favorite clothes and suddenly, it rains!" Katasu said, and Raki said he agreed. "Katasu, there's a fairy chess board here! Let's play!" Raki said.


"Nah, Raki... I don't know how to play fairy chess!" 


"Just read the manual!"


"Alrighty!"


Katasu and Raki walked to the fairy chess board, and started playing. Raki won against Katasu 12 times straight.


2 hours later, they finally arrived at Natoruyo.


"We arrived here in Natoruyo!!!" Kazai said with an excited tone. "It's better than I thought it would be! I thought it would only be some kind of slum. That's worth the wait!" Luka looked at the GPS. "Why are we here anyway?" 


"To fight crime! I guess that's the reason?" Sai answered.


They drove into the entrance of Natoruyo, and stopped near a restaurant. "Nya, another restaurant! I hope there's fish, nya!" Raki mocked Katasu. "Nya! Raki, can you buy fish for me? And stop mocking me, meow!" Katasu was slightly angry at Raki, so their tail wagged. "Where's that music machine thing you told me about, Kazai?" Luka was curious, and looked around. "There it is!" She pointed at a big, modern-styled machine. She ran to the machine, and Sai ran with Luka. "There's also a microphone here too! Luckily I'm just really good at singing~" Luka said, acting like she's proud of herself. (but she really is good at singing) "It's kinda awkward to sing in public, Luka." Sai said.


Luka can see 2 people holding hands, and one is a man, one is a woman.


"Well, this place seems less chaotic than my co-worker said." The woman said.


"We're just going on vacation here! No need to fight any demons!" The man said.


"Have you talked to your superiors about taking a break yet?"


"Oh hell no, I FORGOT, DAMNIT!!!" The man started calling his superiors on the phone. Luka didn't know why they tried to eavesdrop the conversation. (side note: if you're complaining about how many characters has the name starting with "ka", stay mad lmao)


Luka successfully made a song and downloaded it to her phone. She came back to the limousine. "So... what are we eating today?" 


"Haven't we eaten already in the morning? I cooked your favorite noodles with ultimate spiciness!" Zach said proudly, having made some nice and hot food for a 20 year old.


"Yeah, that was really awesome! Can you cook more for me? Like, 2 dishes?"


"Wouldn't your stomach hurt like hell?"


"Oh, right. I got too used to spicy stuff and I totally forgot about that. I really want to eat them anyway!"


"Alright, I'll make 2 dishes then."

[Notice] Discontinutation of Monochrome Blankness ('s current storyline)

I'm really sorry, everyone, if there is even anyone who reads my stuff. I wish to discontinue this novel project of mine due to a lot of reasons. Some of those reasons include me wishing to pursue further knowledge on game development, and to improve on my writing. I felt like the pacing of the chapters was way too fast, and the storywriting's quality is poor, which resulted in me being in an art block.  I also want to spend my time doing what I love, and maybe I'll come back to love writing again. It's up to your own interpretation on how the story ends, and I'll continue writing Side Stories or Extra Chapters here and then. Well, just so you know, Ambroise and Kazai are alive and well! From now on, I will be adding date and time to the chapters I write. It's gonna be a different story, yet I'll continue it in the universe that I built with love and care.
