Chapter 24: Finally, Natoruyo is Open

"Goddamnit... ahhh, my stomach hurts." Luka was wrapping her arms around her body, like she's trying to make her stomach not hurt. Haku immediately tried to heal Luka from stomach pain. "Feel better yet?"


"Thanks master, you're the best!" both Luka and Sai still treat Haku like their parents. "What's gonna be our first destination?" Raki asked. "I kinda think that we should go to the Statue of Natoruyo in the center of Natoruyo first... Speaking of guardian statues, we forgot to visit the Statue of Utoko, what a bummer." Luka answered. 


Suddenly, someone ran to Kazai. "Kazai! The crystals on the Statue... It's gone!"


It was an 11 year old child with purple hair. She's wearing a hoodie. "Kasuri! Who brung you here?" Kazai said in a really surprised tone. "I got a taxi to drive me here, since this place just opened for travelling! If the crystals are gone from the statues, it might be a bad sign!" Kasuri said. "That's a big problem! Um... Do you mind if you join our squad to bring back the crystals?" Kazai patted Kasuri's shoulder. "Um... No. It'll be a pain for a stupid brat to help you in your journey! I-I need to report this to Miles and Sachi right now!" Kasuri ran away, and got on a taxi. "Meow... We almost got another ally." Katasu felt really disappointed.


The squad immediately drove to the Statue of Natoruyo, and the crystal was gone. News also reported that the crystals on all statues are gone too.


"This might be more of a problem to restore the crystals than you think, but I don't know how to obtain it yet. If the crystals are gone for too long, people will eventually wreak havoc in this place!" Satora explained to everyone. "Well damn, we have to find them." Kazai immediately felt tired.


Kazai contacted the female navigator nearby.


"Um... Have you found any crystals around here?"


"Well, I haven't. Why wou- Wait, you look familiar."


"Hm?"


"Aren't you my childhood friend?"


"Wait, but... I don't remember you."


"Kazai, it's me, Student ID 112093!"


"Oh, I-I remember now." Kazai doesn't know how she can remember the student by that ID.


"Anyways, what are you up to?"


"Um... Saving Mokkato, since all the crystals are gone and my friend said it will cause havoc in Mokkato."


"Can I join your uh...team?"


"Yeah, sure. What should I call you?"


"Hmmm, lemme think...Maybe Nami? Since I don't quite have a name..."


"Um, sure."


"Also, I know where Natoruyo lives. Follow me, Kazai."


Nami drove her own car, and Satora drove behind Nami. Some time later, they got to Natoruyo's (the spirit guardian, not the place) mansion.


There's a lock at Natoruyo's mansion gate. 

"Navigator 112 entering."


[Navigator 112's voice recognized.. Gate opening.]


"Woah, you do have some kind of cool technology!" Kinato writed on a paper, but Nami does not see the paper.


"Come here everyone, this is Natoruyo." Nami said.


Natoruyo is a red-haired young boy who looks like a nice person. But in reality he's a really playful person who likes to play with explosions. "Looks like someone came here at the worst time possible…" Natoruyo said.


"Actually, they're here to help!" Nami said.


"Help what? We can't even do anything about it anyway."


"We need to reobtain the crystals! You don't want Natoruyo to collapse, do you?"


"Oh god. I don't want the city to collapse, together with my best friend's city Naiko. I want to help but... I don't like going anywhere outside this city, unless my friend calls me."


"We ain't going outside Natoruyo."


"Oh, right. I'll beat up whoever steals my crystals, because I love them! They're beautiful stuff, just like my friend Naiko! But don't save Natoruyo just yet, I can still hold this city together for 3 years, just like all of my spirit guardian friends!"


"Alright, turn into your spirit form, so others won't see you around."


"Heh, alright, alright."


They slowly drove off and found an interesting place. It's a place Natoruyo hasn't seen before.


They immediately enter the place, while Natoruyo turns into his physical form.

[Notice] Discontinutation of Monochrome Blankness ('s current storyline)

I'm really sorry, everyone, if there is even anyone who reads my stuff. I wish to discontinue this novel project of mine due to a lot of reasons. Some of those reasons include me wishing to pursue further knowledge on game development, and to improve on my writing. I felt like the pacing of the chapters was way too fast, and the storywriting's quality is poor, which resulted in me being in an art block.  I also want to spend my time doing what I love, and maybe I'll come back to love writing again. It's up to your own interpretation on how the story ends, and I'll continue writing Side Stories or Extra Chapters here and then. Well, just so you know, Ambroise and Kazai are alive and well! From now on, I will be adding date and time to the chapters I write. It's gonna be a different story, yet I'll continue it in the universe that I built with love and care.

Chapter 1: The Beginning

[10:34 PM July 8, 2026, Kazai's house] While everyone was sleeping, Satora was looking outside the window at Kazai's house while sipping some tea. There was suddenly a thunderstorm, and the thunder was abnormally too strong. She thought beforehand that it was a disaster. "Gah! W-wait, there's... Is this a disaster?" She walks to the bedroom, where everyone is sleeping. She woke up everyone by shouting "Hey! Wake up! There's a dis-" "AAAHHHH! Don't just wake me up when I'm trying to have a good sleep, Sato!"
