[Chapter 35: The Vicious Wind]
It’s midnight, and the squad is being investigated by the police.
"If this is a squad, are all your squad members here?" A police officer said.
"Yes, they are. We have a member list in our limousine." Satora said.
"Give it to me, and everyone in this list must be here." The police read out the list. "The group members are as following, Kazai Mizuganai, Satora Teishi, Raki Zaro, Katasu Saino, Zach Rosaline, Sai Naikono, Luka Naikono, Haku, Kinato Mari, YUSHIRO, Dettonotto Mizuganai, Kano Kurouzuma, Rona, and Nora. Everyone is here."
"Yes…"
After some time, the police investigated every single thing in the limousine and in their clothes, but they didn't know about the mobile mansion inside their limousine. No one spoke anything about it, because apparently there were Zach's prototypes in there and Zach doesn't want them to be tampered at all.
"You're good to go." The police said.
"...Alright." Satora said, and everyone got in the car, then drove away.
The vicious wind barrier can be seen as the border of Ritsurin. No one can enter, and no one can leave, and everyone who tries to go through it will be killed or at least critically injured with no way to heal.
They drove away to the Ritsurin Spirit Mansion, which is where the spirit guardians reside, and found Fleur again.
"Little Lieselotte~ We meet again." Yushiro said to Fleur.
"Yushiro, shut the fuck up. You sound like a groomer." Fleur said in response.
“Wha… Is this child EVEN allowed to SAY CUSS WORDS?”
“I said. Shut. The. Fuck. Up. I ate broccoli a lot of times and liked it.”
“SERIOUSLY? THIS CHILD SHOULD GO TO JAIL!”
“Ritsurin gave me the privilege to swear your ass out of Ritsurin when talking to you, motherfucker.”
“I AM NOT ATTRACTED TO YOU! I SLEEP WITH SOME RANDOM WOMEN EVERY NIGHT!”
“You would never get any bitches. Do not lie to me.”
“Sigh…” Yushiro walked back into the car.
Kazai walked out of the limousine. “Average Yushiro behavior. I can’t even stand him. He’s a total pervert.”
“At least his dumb brain easily made you restore Natoruyo’s power.” Fleur sighed.
“Also… You’re 9 years old. Shouldn’t you be swearing?” Kazai also sighed.
“Ritsurin gave me the permission to swear.”
“Let’s change the topic for a second, aye? If we’re safe, can we safely cross the border now?”
“Sure, but promise to return Risturin’s power.”
“Alright.”
Fleur materialized a green, gothic lantern into existence, which blocked away the vicious winds.
It apparently sets a limit of vicious wind around it, and makes it just a breeze.
“Where is Ritsurin, though?” Kazai asked.
“She still has backup power. It can last for a millenium, since the crystal is the source of Ritsurin’s energy, and herself is a battery. Right now, there’s only Natoruyo that’s been fixed, and the Natoruyo army is sending backup to other regions as well. Ritsurin is resting in the mansion right now.”
“Do you have any information on where the Ritsurin Crystal could be?”
Fleur channeled a lot of wind energy and dug a hole from over a kilometer away. “Approximately, though. Ritsurin gave me the info.”
Fleur continued manipulating the winds, and created a tornado which sucked the car, herself, and Kazai inside. It formed into a windball, and flew towards the hole, perfectly fitting inside, and making a wind explosion on impact.
“I can do better than a tornado, but it was for dramatic effect. People like it when powers are seen to be cool.” Fleur smirked.
“That’s dangerous…”
“Anyways, leave it to me, omni-element person.”
“Wait, how do you know I control all the elements?”
“I made it up, but it seems like I was correct.”
“Your ass didn’t make it up, Fleur.”
“You got me. I actually asked Miss L. about it.”
“Who is Miss L?”
“Ace.”
“Who’s Ace?”
“Confidential information, dumbass. You don’t work for the government.” Fleur immediately killed 10 attackers with wind blades.
“Fleur…”
“Dumbass, make yourself useful. Help me fight those attackers.”
Kazai immediately helped her eliminate all of the attackers in the base.
“Kazai, you’re strong and all, but your magic energy is all balanced. The reason why my wind power is stronger than yours is because it’s the only magic I have, and I’ve trained on it a lot.”
“Actually…”
“I know the status of Chromatia affects your energy. That’s why you specialize in Gravity, Psychic, Ice and Nature. You unfortunately cannot get back your time powers, though, since Mirunaka is long gone.”
“That’s right. Let’s retrieve the crystal.”
“That easy?”
"You should expect any danger coming when we least expect it. I expect it, so danger will not come, but then I'll least expect it, and danger will probably come, and I'd expect it, and so on."
"Oh… I should stay cautious, then."
"That's how you survive."
Kazai looked at the Ritsurin Crystal, and then tried to grab it, while Fleur made a wind barrier around them.
The Ritsurin Crystal has been obtained. Fleur flew Kazai and herself up onto the air, and the siren of the secret base went off.
They retrieved the Crystal to the statue, but the attackers' super weapon was deployed.
A giant robot.
It's using rockets to fly and chase them, but Fleur used wind energy to fly them into the limousine.
"Zach! Drive the car!"
"Alright, stay calm." Zach drove the car and escaped Ritsurin, with the green lantern protecting the car from being cut.
"Next destination: Hanasori. Fleur, you may leave."
"I want to help you dumbasses on your mission to retrieve the crystals. CSFU will work on that anyway."
"I'm a CSFU agent, Fleur."
"Oh, I forgot, dumbass."
