Extra Chapter 8: Trust Me and Take My Hand

[Extra Chapter 8: Trust Me and Take My Hand]
[TW: Abuse]

A green-haired girl with flowers on her hair sat under the tree, alone, in the Ritsurin Forest.

The only clothing she had was this red kimono she picked up from the trash, and some clothes that her parents gave her.

Kinato Mari was an orphan who lived like this for a few years, until her teenage years. She lived in Ritsurin, where there were leaves falling. She used to beg for food and water, and barely anyone gave her anything.

Okana Mari was her younger sister, who was also an orphan. They both had a home together, and their parents used to pay for it. Luckily, the Mari Family has permanently bought the house, so the expenses are the least of their worries.

They both begged for food on the sidewalks. Kinato was mute, and Okana used to beg for her. Surprisingly, there were kind people, but some people assaulted them and spit at them.

“Living like this is so hard…” Okana cried, while wiping her tears with dirty clothes. Kinato couldn’t use anything to communicate, so she had no choice but to silently comfort her beloved sister. “I wish mama and papa d-didn’t die…”

This was what Okana said when she was attacked for the first time. They were attacked for a long time, until they had bruises and wounds, some treated, some untreated.

That was until a person approached her. She was a short woman in her 20’s, with black clothing, red hair with a hint of blue, and glasses. “Hello, poor girl… I wanna help you both. People said they’ve seen you being hurt for a long time.”

Kinato and Okana looked at the person.

“I’m Kazai Mizuganai… I’ll be taking both of you in.”

Okana walked into the limousine, but Kinato refused. Kazai forcefully dragged Kinato in, but Kinato attacked Kazai, and bit her…

Kinato’s teeth were too weak to make a wound, and Kazai tazed Kinato using her finger. Kinato fell down, crying, as she couldn’t fight back, and she was forced to be dragged into Satora’s limousine. (I think you could’ve known who this is by now…)

When Kinato recovered, she tried to attack Kazai once again, but she was tazed once again. “Big sister, stop! She’s trying to help you!” Okana cried. “Stop hurting my sis, too! I don’t want anyone to get hurt!”

“I’m sorry, she tried to attack me first.” Kazai said as she put a shock collar on Kinato. “I’m sorry for making you feel unwell… I know you love your big sis, but she’s been aggressive like a wild animal.”

As Kinato tried to attack, Kazai used a remote to shock Kinato. The shock was painful, and Kinato cried. “Don’t hurt my big sis!!!!” Okana shouted, and went to Kinato. “Calm down, big sister…”

Kinato didn’t want to attack Okana, her only target was Kazai. Eventually, she had to lock up Kinato inside a cage, and Kinato tried to break out. She slammed on the bars, which disturbed Okana so much. Okana tried to make Kinato calm down, but she couldn’t, and was in tears…

She sobbed into Kinato’s arms, as she tries to attack Kazai and gets shocked.

Kinato was fighting for her life. Crying, but still trying to fight back, until Kazai put on a brand new shock collar on her. It made an even more painful, stunning shock, which made Kinato stop attacking, and just cry.

Kazai tried her best to take care of Kinato, even trying to cook Kinato her favorite food, which gained her some trust, but Kinato still wanted to escape.

“I’m sorry… I don’t want this to go this way. I mean no harm, but only when you do no harm too…” Kazai apologized, and gave Kinato a notebook and a pen.

Kinato threw the pen, trying to stab Kazai, but Kazai shocked Kinato once again. “Please write your feelings…”

[I just want to escape, I don’t trust you] Kinato wrote her first word in many years in her notebook, while crying.

“Please don’t attack me if you don’t want me to hurt you…” Kazai approached Kinato, but Kinato just tried to do a flurry of scratches towards Kazai.

A few weeks later, Kinato’s state had gone less aggressive, but she still meant some harm. She had to sleep in a private room, and people like Sai Naikono and Luka Naikono were disturbed by the constant banging on the doors, with a desperate Kinato.

Kinato is quite the difficult person to live with, and the squad’s been trying their best to comfort Kinato, ensuring that everything’s okay.

For how Kinato gets used to the squad, you might want to read the story…
